PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection hole device without reducing thermal insulation performance, by exhibiting the sufficient thermal insulation performance, without requiring labor so much for opening and closing a cover. SOLUTION: This inspection hole device 20 has an outer frame 30 installed in an inner peripheral edge part of an inspection hole, an inner frame 40 stored inside the outer frame 30 and detachably engaging with the outer frame 30, a cover plate 50 fitted inside the inner frame 40, and a thermal insulation body 60 installed on a reverse surface of the cover plate 50. The thermal insulation body 60 has a box-shaped case 70, a vacuum thermal insulation material 100 stored inside the case 70, and hard urethane foam 110 filled inside the case 70 after storing the vacuum thermal insulation material 100. The case 70 has an outward flange part 83, and the inner frame 40 sandwiches an outer peripheral edge part of the cover plate 50 and the outward flange part 83 of the case 70 from above and below.
