HYDROXYPIVALYL HYDROXYPIVALATE ESTER PLASTICIZER COMPOSITION AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

Provided are a hydroxypivalyl hydroxypivalate ester plasticizer composition, which is superior in heating loss, migration resistance, and plasticizing efficiency and provides polyvinyl chloride resins having excellent physical properties such as tensile strength and elongation, and a preparation thereof. The hydroxypivalyl hydroxypivalate ester plasticizer composition is prepared by reacting 20-50wt% of hydroxypivalyl hydroxypivalate or a mixture of hydroxypivalyl hydroxypivalate and neopentylglycol with 50-80wt% of a C3-12 fatty acid, a C6-10 aromatic acid, or a C3-12 fatty acid and C6-10 aromatic acid. The hydroxypivalyl hydroxypivalate and neopentylglycol are mixed in a weight ratio of 9.5: 0.5 to 5: 5. The reaction is carried out at a temperature of 100-300‹C for 4-14hours.
