TEXT CATEGORY CLASSIFICATION APPARATUS AND ITS METHOD

A device and a method for classifying a category of text are provided to classify the category of the inputted text by extracting input vector from the inputted text, and generating a classification matrix and similarity. An input vector extractor(10) extracts the input vector from the inputted text. A classification matrix generator(20) generates the classification matrix by using the extracted input vector. A similarity generator(30) generates the similarity by using the generated classification matrix. A category classifier(40) classifies the category of the inputted text by using the generated similarity. The input vector extractor includes the first regulator(11) regulating words of the inputted text to each semantic information of the words in context and a syllable classifier(12) classifying input vector element syllables by arranging the regulated text to each syllable unit.
