A starter apparatus of a vehicle is provided to transfer power of a battery to a starter motor and start an engine even in cases where a main relay or a main relay connection line has problem. A starter apparatus of a vehicle, comprises a battery(110) for supplying power to electrical components of the vehicle; a starter motor(140) for receiving power from the battery and driving an engine; a main relay(130) connected between the battery and the starter motor, and transfers power of the battery to the starter motor; an ignition switch(120) connected between the battery and the main relay, and transfers power of the battery to the main relay; an engine rotation detection unit(160); an auxiliary relay(170) connected between the battery and the starter motor, and transfers power of the battery to the starter motor; and a control unit(150) for receiving signals from the ignition switch and the engine rotation detection unit, and controlling the auxiliary relay.
