An apparatus for adjusting a viewing angle of a flat screen TV is provided to control a direction in which a viewer watches a TV screen by vertically moving the TV or horizontally rotating the TV while the TV is attached to a cradle. An apparatus for adjusting a viewing angle of a flat screen TV includes a cradle(3) to which the TV is attached, a base(2) for supporting the cradle, a lift(30) moved up and down along a guide(17) formed in the cradle, a mount(21) rotatably set on a circular axis axially combined with the lift, a horizontal rotation angle adjuster, and a lift controller. The TV is attached to the front of the mount. The horizontal rotation angle adjuster includes a first worm wheel formed on the backside of the mount to horizontally rotate the mount, and a second worm wheel(53) axially combined with the first worm wheel and rotated forward and reverse by a driving motor. The lift controller includes a pulley(40) for vertically moving the lift, a wire(41) for winding the pulley, and a winch for winding and unwinding the wire to vertically move the lift. One end of the wire is connected to the top end of the lift and the other end is extended to the bottom end of the cradle. The winch is fixed to the bottom end of the cradle.
