<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, having a simple structure, easily attachable/detachble to/from the exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine, easily cleaned, and eliminating black smoke and white smoke to the utmost. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device for the internal combustion engine is so designed that a bottomed cylindrical shape is formed by a cylindrical wall part 1 and an end wall part 2 for closing the end part of the cylindrical wall part, a degassing opening part 3 is provided in the axial intermediate part of the cylindrical wall part 1, a casing 5 with exhaust ports 4 arranged is provided to the end wall part 2, metal pieces 6 are compactly filled in an end part side in the casing 5, an exhaust flow guide member 7 for guiding the inflow to a metal piece filling part M of exhaust gas entered from the exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine to the inside of the casing 5 is arranged on the front side of the metal piece filling part M, and the base end part 1o of the cylindrical wall part 1 of the casing 5 is detachably attached to the end part of the exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
