PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad for a vehicle with different characteristics between a hip lower part and the other parts at a low cost. SOLUTION: The seat pad 1 for the vehicle is composed of a seat pad body 2 comprising the hip lower part 2a, a thigh lower part 2b, a side part 2s and a recess 3 on the bottom, and stuffing 4 stuffed in the recess 3. The seat pad body 2 and the stuffing 4 are separately molded, and the stuffing is engaged with the recess 3 and is bonded when necessary. The recess 3 is recessed upward from the bottom of the seat pad body 2 under the hip lower part 2a. The seat pad body 2 is made of an inexpensive low-density material and the stuffing 4 is made of a high-performance material. Accordingly, the seat pad is excellently comfortable when a user is seated because the thigh lower part 2b is soft, and is excellent in the supporting stability because the hip lower part 2a has high hardness.
