The motor has a stator laminated core (16) that is securely fixed in a part (6) of a two-piece converter-motor housing using four pivots (14). An inner side (12) of the part (6) is provided with axially running cooling fins (22). A converter electronic circuit is arranged in U-shape around the part (6) of the housing, where the circuit includes a power module (34) and printed circuit boards (36, 38, 40) that are connected with one another. The circuit is heat conductively connected with the part (6) of the housing and closed with a part (8) of the housing.
