<p>A control unit (16) terminates a brake force distribution control, which distributes front and rear brake forces, after the vehicle has stopped. A brake pressure controlling unit (4) includes normally-open electromagnetic valves (6A-6D) which, when closed, prevent transfer of fluid pressure from a master cylinder (M) to wheel brakes (2A-2D). The control unit executes an anti-lock brake control resolving a lock tendency of the wheels by controlling the operation of the brake pressure controlling unit according to a result of judgment of the lock tendency of the wheels, and simultaneous execute the brake force distribution control by controlling the valves in connection with the rear wheels in such a manner that the valves are opened when the brake force distribution control is finished.</p> |
