The surface is adapted to vibrate an inspected item with at least a component of motion in a horizontal direction. The system also includes at least one exhaust adapted to remove gas samples from a vicinity of the inspected item, and an analysis unit adapted to determine whether the gas samples include one or more particulates.</p> |
