PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recommendation device properly learning taste of a user from a browsing history of information to recommend information with high accuracy.

SOLUTION: This information recommendation device has: information designation part wherein the user designates the information to be browsed; an information acquisition part acquiring the designated information; a reason candidate generation part generating a candidate of reason for selection of the information; an information display part displaying the candidate of the reason; a reason acquisition part acquiring the reason selected by the user; a user profile storage part storing user profile information; a user profile update part updating user profile according to the reason selected by the user; and a recommendation information selection part selecting the recommended information on the basis of the user profile.
