<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water soluble ink capable of forming the image which has the high setting density, the excellent color hue, and the high image fastness under a variety of use conditions and environmental conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The coloring composition contains a dye expressed by formula (1) (wherein, A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>and A<SB>3</SB>are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, but at least one of A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>and A<SB>3</SB>is a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; X is a divalent linking group and is linked with any of A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>and A<SB>3</SB>; n is an integer of 0 or 1; and R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each independently an azo group-free monovalent group). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
