<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium with a recording layer which enables successful recording/regenerating of data and is suited for ultra-high density recording with the help of a laser light with 300 to 900 nm wavelength, especially, a blue-purplish laser light selected from the range of 400 to 410 nm wavelengths, and a new 1H-quinoxaline-2-on derivative. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium comprises at least one single recording layer which contains not less than one kind of the 1H-quinoxaline-2-on derivative. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
