DISPERSANT, PASTE COMPOSITION INCLUDING IT AND INORGANIC ELEMENT MANUFACTURED USING IT, AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant, a paste composition including it and an inorganic element manufactured using it, and a display device employing it.

SOLUTION: The dispersant comprises a hydrophobic part including a branched alkyl group and arylene group, and a hydrophilic part including an alkylene oxide group and a carboxyl group. The alkyl group is a substituted or an unsubstituted 5C-30C alkyl group, the arylene group is a substituted or an unsubstituted 6C-30C arylene group, and the alkylene oxide group is a substituted or an unsubstituted 2C-10C alkylene oxide group. Since the dispersant is excellent in dispersibility and has a small amount of a carbon amount remaining after sintering, the paste composition including the dispersant can disperse a large amount of inorganic particles while maintaining a low viscosity. Accordingly, the inorganic element manufactured using the paste composition can have a low residual carbon amount and a high packing density.
