PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display panel and a method of fabricating the same that can simplify stages. SOLUTION: The panel has a first TFT nTFT including a gate line 102, a data line 104 separated from it, a first semiconductor layer 114, a first gate electrode 106 superposed on a first semiconductor layer 114 across a first insulating pattern, and a first source electrode 108 and a first drain electrode 110 separated from the first gate electrode and connected to the first semiconductor layer 114, a protective film 118, a pixel electrode 120 which is connected to the first drain electrode 110 through a first contact hole 122 penetrating the protective film 118, and a first contact electrode 128 which connects both portions of the data line 104 through a second contact hole 124 penetrating the protective film 118.
