PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information about a point to serve as a destination precisely to a user. SOLUTION: This navigation system 20 for a vehicle detects a plurality of items of vehicle conditions when the vehicle stops, in the destination/stop point determination processing executed by the navigation system 20 for the vehicle, and determines which the vehicle stop point is of the destination or a stop point. A vehicle stop position is thereby determined precisely to be the destination or the stop point for clearing only affairs, to be stored. Resultingly, the highly precise information is provided as to the point to serve as the destination of the vehicle, by taking the stored destination/stop point into consideration.
