PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To laminate large-sized substrates with comparatively low power consumption, in a short time, and to simultaneously cure sealant in the longitudinal and the lateral directions of an image outline. SOLUTION: In a light irradiating part 1, a plurality of spot-like light sources of LEDs, lamps or the like radiating a light, having wavelength that cures the sealant are arranged linearly, and the spot-like light sources are combined in a rectangular frame shape so as to face the peripheral part (four sides) of the image outline of a panel 10 on which the sealant 11 is applied. A sidewall (not shown), whose inner surface is a reflection surface, is attached so as to enclose the spot-like light sources and the sidewall is extended to the near part of the sealant 11 of the panel 10 to introduce light from the spot-like light sources to the sealant 11. Since rectangular light, matching the shape of the image outline, is emitted from the light emission part 1, the sealant 11 in the longitudinal and lateral directions of the image outline can be cured, at the same time. Since only the part on which the sealant 11 is applied is irradiated with light, power consumption will not become so high, even if the substrates are made large. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
