PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosstie supporting structure which damps vibration through a part of a crosstie to enable a countermeasure against vibration and noise. SOLUTION: According to the crosstie supporting structure 1, a support meterial 11 is placed on the side of the undersurface 21 of the elongated crosstie 10 to form a support area 25. The crosstie 10 is formed with a through-hole 20, and a platelike portion 23 is formed between a flat face 20a at the undersurface of the through-hole 20 and the undersurface 21 of the crosstie 10, where the platelike portion 23 can move vertically. The central part 40 in the width direction of the platelike portion 23 is located above the support area 25 whereby the platelike portion 23 damps vibration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
