PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuous dyeing and finishing, by which in continuously dyeing and finishing a woven fabric, etc., facilities and a process are simplified, water retention necessary for dyeing and temperature retention necessary for high dyeing are accurately carried out and short-time dyeing effect and stable finish are attained. SOLUTION: In the continuous dyeing and finishing of a fiber structure, the fiber structure F is padded with a dyeing liquid, an aluminum pipe thermally sprayed with ceramic for radiating far-infrared radiation is disposed as a heater in a steamer A, similarly a cylinder having irradiation force of far-infrared radiation is arranged in a high heat treatment part B, superheated steam is passed through the heater 4 or the cylinder 5, the superheated steam is released in the steamer A or the high heat treatment part B while radiating irradiation energy of far-infrared radiation and high-temperature steaming treatment is carried out at 100% superheated steam under normal pressure in an air-free state.
