PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member having the relatively consistent friction coefficient even when the bearing pressure of a sliding surface is fluctuated. SOLUTION: In the sliding member with its sliding surface coated with a plating film, cracks are formed in the surface of the plating film, and a mixture of a fluorine resin and a metal sulfide is filled in the cracks.
