PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate which attains cost reduction and has excellent workability and high durability, and is chemically stable. SOLUTION: Titanium foil 2 is stuck and fixed to the surface of an insulating substrate 1 such as glass cloth and a polyimide film with an adhesive layer 3, so as to form a plating layer 4 of a platinum group metal on the surface of the titanium foil. Instead of plating the platinum group metal on the titanium foil, noble metal foil may be used. The invention can be further utilized as an electrode for wiring and a flexible electrode in electric conduction working apparatus for food by the use of an insulating substrate having flexibility.
