PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper storage box having a high usability, eliminating the impairing of the external appearance and constantly retaining the inside of a box body clean. SOLUTION: This paper storage box comprises the hollow cylindrical box body 1 storing roll-type toilet paper P1, a top lid 2 formed with a pullout area 6a opened with a pullout opening 6 for pulling out the toilet paper P1 and closing the upper end opening face 1a of the box body 1, and a bottom lid 3 closing the lower-end opening face 1b of the box body 1. The bottom lid 3 is opened with an insertion hole 10 for inserting fingers and the bottom lid 3 is detachably attached to the lower end opening face 1b of the box body 1 by inserting the fingers into the insertion hole 10 and operating.
