A multi-link type rear wheel suspension is provided to secure strength about lateral load by installing an upper arm fixing the upper end of a carrier with a vehicle body at a side member of the vehicle body, to improve riding comfort even in cornering the vehicle, and to manufacture the upper arm with a light material. A multi-link type rear wheel suspension comprises a carrier(10) supporting a vehicle wheel; and an upper arm(12) and a lower arm(14) installed by fixing upper and lower ends of the carrier on a vehicle body. The upper arm is linearly formed on the whole length to be fixed with the upper end of the carrier on one end and with a side member(16) of the vehicle body on the other end. The lower arm is fixed with the lower end of the carrier on one end and with a cross member(18) on the other end. The side member is formed with a recessed seat side and fixed with a mounting bracket(20) on the center of the seat side to form a settling unit for installing a pair of mounting bushes formed at a branch unit(12a) of the upper arm between the seat side and the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has a second inclined plane(20a), a second facing plate(20a) and a flange plane(20c). |
