<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a driving circuit that has simple constitution using no shift register in CMOS type structure and can be constituted at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 has driving circuits 11 and 20 which supply data pulses synchronized with scan pulses to display cells CL, ..., through column electrodes while applying the scan pulses to row electrodes. The driving circuits 11 and 20 each include a converting circuit 21 which generates a control code specifying a row electrode and converts it into a K-bit code and pulse generating circuits 221 to 22N and 23 which are connected to row electrodes where combinations of (r) bits selected from the K-bit code irrelevantly to the order are assigned respectively. The pulse generating circuits 221 to 22N, and 23 apply scan pulses to row electrodes according to decoding results of the combinations of (r) bits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
