ROTATING SLOT TYPE MEMORY CARD CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately insert a memory card to be used into an insertion hole fitted for the card with a selective use of plural kinds of cards.

SOLUTION: A rotating slot of a cylindrical shape having a plurality of card insertion holes on a side face is arranged in free rotation against a connector body so that its ceiling face is made exposed on a ceiling plate of the connector body and the side face of the rotating slot exposes only one insertion hole on the surface plate of the connector body. A connector cable with a corresponding connector terminal arranged at a given card insertion hole is inserted into the rotating slot, and either an FPC cord from the connector terminal or a loose cable is connected to an FPC connector arranged at an appropriate position of a base plate of the connector body. The plurality of card insertion holes at the side face of the rotating slot is either arranged on the same level toward a rotating direction or on different levels toward the rotating direction.
