<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card allowing certain start-up of a system even when there is an error in a centralized control block. <P>SOLUTION: A memory 3 has: a plurality of blocks including management information; and the centralized control block concentrated with the management information of each block. A control part 8 detects the centralized control block inside the memory 3 on start-up. When the centralized control block includes the error, the control part 8 retrieves the management information from the plurality of blocks inside the memory within a limited time set to the system, and writes the retrieved management information into the centralized control block of the memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
