<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment case having a function of charging electronic equipment inserted into the case. <P>SOLUTION: A battery 8 is installed in the case. On the outer surface of the case, there are attached a film solar cell 3 and a solar cell member constructed of a transparent sheathing body. A power supply plug 10 is connected to a converter 11 for converting alternating-current voltage into low direct-current voltage. A switching circuit 12 operates as follows: when there is the output of the converter 11, the switching circuit directs this output to a drive/charge circuit 13; when there is not, it directs the output of the film solar cell 3 to the drive/charge circuit 13. The drive/charge circuit 13 charges the battery 8 with the output of the switching circuit 12. Further, it directs the output of the battery 8 to an output terminal 5 and LED 7 through an I/O circuit 14. When the output terminal 5 is connected to electronic equipment inserted into the case, the battery in the electronic equipment is charged with the voltage at the output terminal 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
