<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique stably receiving an optical burst signal with high accuracy without the need for using a reset signal. <P>SOLUTION: A signal amplifier circuit disclosed herein is configured to include: a peak detection latch circuit 21; a bottom detection latch circuit 22; a differential amplifier circuit 23 that uses an intermediate level between a peak level and a bottom level latched by the peak detection latch circuit 21 and the bottom detection latch circuit 22 as a threshold value and differentially amplifies an input signal and the threshold value; and a level release circuit 24 that releases the peak level and the bottom level latched by the peak detection latch circuit 21 and the bottom detection latch circuit 22 so as to make both the levels reach the non-signal state level of the input signal by means of discharging when the input signal is not present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
