<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriately an information recording method in which a recording mark having a rationalized shape and mark width is formed, an information recording device, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The information recording method capable of properly forming a mark width of a central portion of the recording mark, the information recording device, and the recording medium are provided. The method comprises a step of generating a pulse train including a first pulse and a second pulse and a step of forming at least one of the recording mark and a space on the information recording medium by irradiating the information recording medium with the pulse train while rotating the information recording medium at a certain linear velocity. The first pulse forms a central portion of the recording mark among the recording mark and the space, the second pulse forms a portion other than the central portion of the recording mark among the recording mark and the space, and the step of generating the pulse train includes a step of determining power level of the first pulse in accordance with the linear velocity and a power level of the second pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
