PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sampling period of a data signal supplied to an image signal line 180. SOLUTION: Pixels 110 are provided correspondingly to intersections between scan lines 112 and data lines 114 divided every four into blocks. Image signal lines 180 are divided into groups (a) and (b), and each group consists of four lines and has a voltage holding property. When a scan line 112 of one row is selected, data signals Vid1 to Vid4 of four channels having voltages according with gradations of pixels corresponding to the selected scan line are supplied. A selection circuit 170 alternately selects the groups (a) and (b) and distributes the data signals Vid1 to Vi4 to four image signal lines 180 belonging to the selected group. A sampling signal output circuit 140 outputs signals synchronously with group selection of the selection circuit 170 while overlapping a H level in order. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
