PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable work while a fixed mold and a movable mold are fixed to die plates respectively when mold clamping force is adjusted. SOLUTION: In a molding machine, the fixed and movable molds 20 and 22 are fixed to the fixed side and movable side die plates 10 and 12 in a mold opening/closing device respectively and both molds are opened/closed by operating movable die plate 12. Support members 30 and 32 which are arranged outside the mold mating faces 20b and 22b of the fixed and movable molds 20 and 22 and can be burdened with part of the mold clamping force acting on the mold mating faces of both molds while both molds 20 and 22 are closed and mold clamping adjustment means (a head 40, a shim 50, etc.) which can adjust the lengths of the support members and thereby adjust the burden ratio of the mold clamping force by the support members are provided.
