PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key controller capable of controlling ON/OFF of a lock mechanism of each key storage section by a single driving mechanism regardless of the number of key storage sections. SOLUTION: The key controller having the key storage section 1 arranging a plurality of key mounting sections 2 hooking keys a row is equipped with the lock mechanism making prohibition/permission of removal of keys provided every key mounting sections, one driving section 11 driving the lock mechanism every key mounting sections locked ON or locked OFF, a reading section 3 reading identification information possessed by a user and a controlling means controlling the driving section so that the lock mechanism of the key mounting section corresponding to the identification information read by the reading section within a plurality of key mounting sections can be only locked OFF.
