PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device incorporable into a stile part of a window sash. SOLUTION: In this locking device 1A, a mechanism unit 3 having a slidingly operating dead bolt 2 and a control unit 4 controlling the mechanism unit 3, are incorporated into a meeting stile 103A of an inner sash 101A. In the meeting stile 103A of the inner sash 101A, an opening part 110a passing the dead bolt 2 is formed on an outside surface 110 opposed to a meeting stile 104A of an overlapping outer sash 102A. A receiving metal fitting 5A having a locking hole part 10 for inserting the dead bolt 2, is also installed on the meeting stile 104A of the outer sash 102A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
