PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination type game machine which can increase chances to generate special game conditions and can enhance amusement. SOLUTION: The combination type game machine has a winning or loosing determining means for determining winning or loosing based on an entrance of game balls into pattern operating gates, a variable ball entering unit for opening variable ball entrance port by starting operation base on the winning or loosing determining result, and a special game condition generating unit generating special game conditions increasing the probability resulting in starting the operation of the variable ball entrance unit by the winning or loosing determining result by the winning or loosing determining means in the case that game balls having entered the variable ball entering port pass through a predetermined area, the winning or loosing determining means carries out the winning or loosing determining by the winning or loosing determining means in a condition that the probability resulting in starting the operation of the variable ball entrance unit is increased when the game balls pass through the pattern operating gates during the variable ball entering unit operates.
