PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work easiness in installation and withdrawal of a temporary toilet and to improve transportability and storability. SOLUTION: A portable toilet is provided with a mounting plate 2 where a filth passing hole 21 is formed and a support leg 3 for supporting the mounting pate 2 so as to position the filth passing hole 21 right above an opening M1 in a manhole M. The support leg 3 is equipped so as to be switched to a stored state and a supporting state with respect to the mounting plate 2.
