PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of retaining constant temperature of a cooking surface regardless of the number of users using the cooker, and capable of heating the wide area with a linear heater, and providing the even temperature distribution on a heated part. SOLUTION: The cooker is composed of a flat cooking plate on which a foodstuff is placed, a base for supporting the cooking plate, and the heater disposed under the cooking plate for heating the cooking plate. A first temperature sensor is disposed approximately at the center of a first area, which is approximately the 2/3 of the area of the cooking plate in the longitudinal direction, and a second temperature sensor is disposed approximately at the center of a second area, which is the remaining 1/3 of the area of the cooking plate.
