A method for displaying a received text message list in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display caller information together with the part of received text message contents when an item for displaying the received text message list is selected by menu operation of a user so that the user can confirm the caller information and the part of the text message contents on the received text message list. A method for displaying a received text message list in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following step of displaying caller information together with preset partial contents of a received text message when a received text message list displaying function of the terminal is performed according as a user operates a menu. The caller information is icons which are preset by the user according to each caller. A caller icon and partial contents of the text message are displayed together on the all of displayed text message list. |
