<p>A bone cement composition contains (a) the product of a polymerisation reaction between a high molecular weight dimethacrylate monomer having a molecular weight of at least 250 and bearing at least one hydrophilic group, a monofunctional methacrylate monomer having a molecular weight of not more than 250 bearing at least one hydrophilic group, an methacrylate monomer, and a polymer having a molecular weight of at least 200,000, and (b) an inorganic filler which is present in an amount of at least about 40% by weight, based on the total weight of the cement composition.</p> |
