<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate content utilization charging control in multicast content distribution. <P>SOLUTION: Hierarchical contents comprised of a basic hierarchy and several expansion hierarchies are used and the basic hierarchy is transmitted by unicast to perform viewing management and charging processing for each user. Furthermore, a requested expansion hierarchy is distributed by multicast in response to a signal requesting data of the expansion hierarchy, and transfer of the expansion hierarchy is stopped in response to a signal requesting transfer stop of the expansion hierarchy, thereby performing charging by qualities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
