<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby a terminal can take a midway participation in the simultaneous reproduction processing among the other terminals while the other terminals share data and simultaneously reproduce the shared data. <P>SOLUTION: In a simultaneous reproduction system, wherein a PDA 2, a mobile phone 3 (player terminal 3), and a digital camera 4 (player terminal 4) are connected to a network, when the PDA 2 transmits content data to each player terminal in response to a request from each player terminal and each player terminal carries out simultaneous reproduction processing, a notebook PC 5 taking a midway part in the simultaneous reproduction processing acquires a reproduction time stamp TSa for denoting an elapsed time after reproduction start of the content data from the PDA 2, determines a reproduction start time TI of the content data relative to the reproduction time stamp TSa in response to a delay time required for data communication with the PDA 2, requests the PDA 2 to transmit the content data after the reproduction start time TI, and reproduces the content data after the reproduction start time TI acquired from the PDA 2 in response to the request from the notebook PC 5 in the timing of the reproduction start time TI. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
