<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing device for preventing the backflow of a pressure injected material during ground improvement, a joint equipped therewith, and a ground improving method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The closing device comprises a closing plate storage part 13 peripherally provided in a pipe 10 with a protruded portion 12 having an insertion hole 11 continuously extending to an opening formed in the pipe 10, and a closing plate 14 inserted through the insertion hole 11 and the opening into the pipe 10 for closing the internal of the pipe 10.
