<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume hologram transfer foil having excellent thermo-compression adhesion of a volume hologram layer comprising a light cation monomer and a photoradical monomer to any application member, in particular, a polyester resin card, and effective for prevention of illegal copying, and to provide a volume hologram multilayer structure formed by using the above transfer foil. <P>SOLUTION: The volume hologram transfer foil comprises a substrate (1) and a protective layer (2), a volume hologram layer (3), a primer layer (4) and a heat seal layer (5) comprising a thermoplastic resin, successively layered on the substrate (1), wherein the multilayer structure of the protective layer, the volume hologram layer, the primer layer and the heat seal layer is releasable from the substrate. The volume hologram layer is made of a photosensitive material comprising a cation polymerizable compound and a radical polymerizable compound.
