PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved wakeboard binding assembly. SOLUTION: The wakeboard binding assembly comprises a binding base and an outer sole. The binding base is structured to be attached both to a wakeboard and to the upper part of the binding. The outer sole is designed to surround the peripheral edge of the binding base and to cover the attaching area between the binding base and the instep of the binding.
