PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning structure capable of attenuating noise generated by a collision between a bump stopper and its rubber can be mitigated. SOLUTION: The cushioning structure comprises tubular bump stopper rubber 1 coupled to a rod 21 capable of being retracted into and projected from a cylinder 20 and a bump stopper 10 provided at the end of the cylinder 20 and opposed to the bump stopper rubber 1. In the cushioning structure, a plurality of protrusions 4 are formed at the end 5 of the bump stopper rubber 1 opposite to the bump stopper 10, and a plurality of protrusions 13 are formed at the annular end of the bump stopper 10 opposite to the bump stopper 1. Besides, the protrusions 4, 13 is arranged so that at least one of the protrusions 4 at the stopper rubber side abuts against one of the protrusions 13 at a bump stopper side when the bump stopper rubber 1 and the bump stopper 10 abut against each other.
