PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor with a photosensitive layer which contains a charge transport agent having excellent solubility in an organic solvent and excellent compatibility with a binder resin, and has high charge mobility. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is manufactured wherein the photosensitive layer is formed by preparing and applying a resin solution for forming a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating agent comprising a triphenylamine compound, the charge transport agent and a binder resin on a drum-shaped aluminum substrate. The electrophotographic photoreceptor can suppress occurrence of image defects and cracks while achieving high sensitivity and high response during image formation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
