PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand device for a flat electronic device, which is easily carried and installed in an installation face without the need of any tool. SOLUTION: The stand device comprises; three or more bar-like members serving as legs; and a support section 12 which supports the bar-like members so as to be rotatable with different support points as centers and which is installed at the bottom section of a television receiver 10. Each bar-like member has rotation support sections 13a to 13c for attaching itself to the support section 12 at a top end, and is turnable so as to open the leg in an expanding direction with support points different from one another as centers at the top end. All bar-like members 14a to 14c are rotatable from a closed leg state to an open leg state in which the legs are opened to a predetermined angle. When the television receiver 10 is installed on the flat installation face via the stand device, each of the bar-like members 14a to 14c has an opening shape so that top end sections 15a to 15c are smoothly shifted to the open leg state on the installation face.
