PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence of deformation due to thermal deformation of a heater. SOLUTION: This Stirling engine 100 has a low temperature side cylinder 102 fixed on a base plate 10 via a cooler 107. A regenerator 106 on which one end part of a heater is attached to an attachment hole 10H of the base plate 10 with clearance fit. The regenerator 106 has a regenerator flange 106F provided on an outer circumference part and is held between a spacer 31 and an elastic body 32. The regenerator flange 106F held between the spacer 31 and the elastic body 32 is put between a clamp 30 for a regenerator which is a regenerator attaching means. And the regenerator 106 is attached on the base plate by fastening the clamp 30 for the regenerator to the base plate 10 by a bolt 33 which is a fastening means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
