PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic imparting interesting design to the externals. SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains a mica-based composite material obtained by covered with one or more metal oxides and/or metal hydroxides on the surface of a large diameter flaky mica having≥0.1 mm but <0.5 mm particle flake diameter and 0.2-2μm particle thickness.
