PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat generated in a disc brake from being transmitted to a raceway surface on a fixed ring side to avoid early breakage due to reduction of hardness of the raceway surface. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing unit 20 for supporting wheel provided with a plurality of rolling bodies 30 arranged between a rotary ring 23 and a fixed ring 21 so as to roll freely, a flange 27 for attaching wheel for attaching the wheel to the rotary ring 23, and a flange 26 for attaching suspension device for attaching the suspension device to the fixed ring 21 is provided with a rotor of disc brake attached to the flange 27 for attaching wheel and a caliper 31 of disc brake attached to the flange 26 for attaching suspension device.
