PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel allergen removal filter which is mounted on an air conditioner in living environment such as an air purifier for cars or houses and used, wherein the filter deactivates or removes an allergen substance derived from mites, pollens or the like that is a substance causing an allergy. SOLUTION: There are provided: the allergen removal filter comprising an astilbin substance containing one or two or more compounds selected from the group consisting of astilbin, neoastilbin, isoastilbin, neoisoastilbin and taxifolin in a total amount of 5% by mass or more, wherein the astilbin substance is adhered at a surface density of 0.01 g/m<SP>2</SP>or more on a fibrous substrate and a ratio of the adhering astilbin substance is 0.1 to 30% based on the surface density of the fibrous substrate; and a composite filter formed by integrating a dust removal filter for removing dust and/or a gas removal filter for removing a hazardous gas with the allergen removal filter.
